Camouflage.. even in color...

After counting a group of nine deer at Lake Elkhorn Park in Columbia, Maryland, I noticed one was moving ultimately blending in with the scenery.  I hope you like it!

Heavenly Start to the Morning!

Even though I just recently went to bed, I am up bright and early to catch the earliest bird activity.  I step out to a wonderful sunrise.  I'm sharing it with you.  I hope you all have a wonderful, pain free day!

Capturing a Beautiful Sunset In Traffic

This image was captured in traffic at sunset earlier this month.  By chance, while my husband was driving, I noticed that the sunset had made the sky an amazing blend of colors.  I wrapped my camera strap around my wrist and put the camera on top of the car.  I was in an awkward position and could not hang myself out of the window so I had to trust it was in the right position or at least salvageable.  I didn't expect to get a decent picture, much less capture the sun in the shot.  The original photo was very crooked but the end results were sweet!

These pictures are proof that there is so much more than just a photo.  A photo can take you somewhere you have never been and make you feel like you were there!

Fibromyalgia may ravage me... but it can't break me!

I deal with my pain the best ways I know how.  Some days, I can pick up a paintbrush.  Other days, I can muster up shoulder power to pick up my camera.  I've dubbed myself as a Fibro-Crafter... I love to craft and design just about anything!  All of the photographs you see here are for sale and can be found at www.I-Shot-It.com.  All photos on this blog are captured by me, when the animals and nature happens throughout my day!

Pictures On This Site Are For Sale

This blog is dedicated to the pictures that I enter into contests and currently list for sale.  With my medical issues, this is my hobby for income.  I suffer from fibromyalgia.  My husband is retired Navy and dedicates his time to taking care of me.  This means that we do not live above our means and must succome to increasingly challenging economic hardships.  I can't get out often due to pain so the pictures I take are usually of what comes to me.

It is difficult to get into tight spots and I use a FujiFilm Finepix S8200 and a basic editing program.  My pictures are for sale through I-Shot-It.  I would prefer that my photography be strictly for private use only.  Please contact me before using for commercial purposes.  Thank you!  :)
